About Us

Colorado Nepalese Community (CNC) provides intergenerational opportunities to experience Asian Nepali heritage and traditions through cultural events, educational programs and community initiatives. The community  strives to foster understanding and appreciation for the rich traditions and contributions of Nepali cultures. The community  is committed to building a more inclusive and diverse community by bridging cultural gaps and promoting mutual respect and understanding. a nonprofit and formed with a group of community leaders dedicated to improving the quality of life of residents in Aurora (Nepalese Community) and the surrounding neighborhoods by promoting equitable access to education (art and culture), health, and economic opportunities.  We are grassroots  volunteer group, each of us associated in our own respective fields but have common interests in straightening our cultural roots, uniting our people to be aware of the community we live in and  represent and be a voice for Nepalese Community, especially those from immigrant, refugee, and under-served communities.  

Conclusion: 

Most of our programs aims to attract a diverse audience, including art and culture enthusiasts, families, educators, students, and international tourists, offering something enriching for every visitor. Our programs are crafted to attract a broad audience base, including art and culture enthusiasts, the global diaspora from Nepal and local communities of Denver, educators, students, families, and tourists, encouraging deep engagement with the cultural narratives. 

Our exhibits have been a groundbreaking that showcases Nepal’s rich cultural festivals and fosters a deeper understanding and appreciation of global cultures. Through the collective effort of the Nepalese Colorado Community and the support of the various local entities we have always aimed to create an unforgettable experience that transcends geographical boundaries and unites people through the universal language of art and culture.
